I’d support legalizing online sports betting if it is tightly controlled and regulated to ensure Nebraska is capturing that tax revenue. Conservative estimates suggest 64,000 Nebraskans are already wagering online and states surrounding us have already passed it. We should at least capture that revenue to help bring down property taxes.
