Do you support creating a right to abortion in the Nebraska Constitution, eliminating pro-life laws and allowing taxpayer funding of abortion?

Being a Catholic I believe that Abortion is bad but I also believe in the right a women should have to do what she chooses for her body.

2 PROTECT GIRLS’ SPORTS & SPACES
Do you support legislation prohibiting men from playing in girls’ sports and using women’s restrooms and locker rooms?

Michael Skocz:

No Position

I don't believe in the term men here as if the transformation has been completed then they are trans women, thus they have that right.

3 PARENTAL RIGHTS
Do you support the right of parents to control what their child is taught in the classroom, including on topics like sexual orientation and gender identity?

Michael Skocz:

No Position

I am not sure about the word control but partnership may be a better word. Just like so many things, I am sure that common ground can be found and Students can be educated to the highest degree.

4 SCHOOL CHOICE
Do you support school choice legislation that would enable parents to choose the school that best suits their child’s needs?

Michael Skocz:

No Position

Once again I am not sure why this has to be either or and not a mutual conversation between the two. I am sure that the best for the Student is the highest priorities for both thus I have confidence that a meeting of the minds can be accomplished.

5 RELIGIOUS FREEDOM
Do you support protecting sincerely held religious beliefs and practices about marriage, family, and sexuality from government discrimination?

No Position

I will be honest I am confused with this question... are you referring to our Schools, everyone life or just my life. I will say that I do believe in the separation of Church and State very strongly

6 MARIJUANA
Do you support legalizing marijuana for recreational use?

Michael Skocz:

I believe in the legalization for Medical purpose only. And with the passing of the law in the previous elections I am saddened that those patients who desperately needs this assistance still have not been given access.

7 GAMBLING
Do you support expanding gambling to include online sports betting from anywhere in the state?

Michael Skocz:

Yes

I believe that the citizens of our State are able to control this and thus should be given the right if so chosen to partake.
