1. PARENTAL RIGHTS:
Parents are the primary educators of their own children and should have the most say over what their child is taught in the classroom?

John Sieler:

Yes

2. COMPREHENSIVE SEX ED:
Implement comprehensive sex education in schools, including the promotion of transgender ideology and preferred pronouns usage?

John Sieler:

When I am elected to the SBE, at the first meeting, I will offer a resolution to table and put a final end to the proposed "sex-education" effort by other outside influencers. I have a public record, from when I served on the SBE, on opposing intrusive sex education in schools.

Critical Race Theory should be taught in schools?

Support school choice policies that would enable more parents to choose the school that best suits their child’s needs?

John Sieler:

Yes

I believe parents should have the right to choose public school, private school, or home school for their own children. I have a public record, when serving on the SBE from 2010 - 2014, of defending private and home schools from overly intrusive "regulations" proposed by the staff of the SBE.

5. PROTECT GIRLS’ SPORTS:
Participation in girls’ sports and access to women’s restrooms and locker rooms should be based on biological sex?

John Sieler:

Yes

When I am elected to the SBE, at the first meeting I attend, I will offer two resolutions. One will prohibit biological boys from participating in girls' sports. Two will prohibit biological boys from having access to women's restrooms and locker rooms in all public schools.

6. ACADEMIC TRANSPARENCY:
Allow parents to easily access all books and learning materials being used for student instruction?

Yes

7. RELIGIOUS FREEDOM:
Protect the free speech and religious liberty rights of students to not be forced to make statements or participate in activities that violate their religious beliefs?

John Sieler:

Yes

8. PRO-LIFE:
Support legal protection for the life of every pre-born child from the moment of conception, unless the mother’s life is at risk?

Yes
