I do support this and am happy with what we got passed on the sport side. I think the bathroom issue is more complex - for example how can a school during a high school basketball game that the public attends enforce "biology" for the bathroom. I think there is more nuance involved with that part of legislation. Locker rooms are easier - they should be by biological sex and if there is a transgender kid - they have a different space to change - just as the NSAA is requiring.

I voted for school choice legislation my first two years. Then the people voted they did not want tax money going to opportunity scholarships and I will support that. That being said - I think there could be other "school choice" type concepts that I could potentially support.

However I am afraid this will get put on as a ballot initiative and it will pass - then we will have to promulgate rules around it.
